Alice is a young, carefree girl who is the 431st guest of the manor. She expresses that she despises lies and carries herself in a nonchalant way through a journey said to be "tantamount to suicide" At the end of the manga, Alice is revealed to be more of an anti-hero. She was a princess bedridden from illness that held nothing but the desire to truly experience the world. She becomes greatly invested in literature, using it as a proxy to experience the world that has been cut off from her.
