About Nero
Monica's familiar. Although it has the appearance of a black cat, it can understand and speak human language. When Monica looks distressed, it will let her touch its paws to soothe her. It has trouble remembering the names of humans other than Monica. However, it likes reading novels written by humans, and is a big fan of the novelist Dustin Gunther.
